The fruit aisle is getting “trippy”. In SE Asia we got our “trippy” fruit like Uglifruit, Rambutan and Dragonfruit the traditional way — hundreds of years of selective breeding.
Totally different point but related to trippy fruit: How humans are shaping the evolution of other animals and plants. I suppose since the publisher is Anthropocene magazine, perhaps their argument is obvious.
I don’t know what to say about this , but it’s a heck of a read: Andrew Wylie, the “Jackal” of the big business of serious literature via longreads.
